It’s Time Guardian!
If you dropped Destiny 2 early on, today’s new update and the next few weeks of changes might be more than enough to bring you back. Operation Forsaken Prep (not an actual thing) is underway!
Bungie updated their site with a new post that details many of the changes that are being introduced in update 2.0 which just dropped. This update details of which can be seen here mostly prepares the game for next week’s Forsaken expansion, which is a bigger expansion compared to the previous two. Think “The Taken King” from Destiny 1. Here is a bullet from Bungie’s post:
- Destiny 2 Update 2.0 will bring many changes to the Destiny 2 experience in preparation for Forsaken. Some features may not be fully operational until September 4.
Haven’t pre-ordered Forsaken? Worry not! Starting this Saturday, yes September 1st you can try out the Gambit mode free for 24 hours. Yes, everyone will be able to try out the Gambit mode for free. In case you don’t know this new game mode introduces PvP & PvE and fuses them to probably create one of the most action packed event in any Destiny activity ever. Mostly because you are constantly on the move and engaged. Check out a gameplay video of it below:
GEAR UP, PREP UP:
With Forsaken releasing next week it’s hard to grind up all the way to max light level in just a week. Especially considering the Summer Solstice event just ended. However, you can take this time to gear up as much as you can and primarily hunt for weapons and materials that might help you out on your adventure coming up September 4th. The max light level for Forsaken is said to be 600! So, there will be plenty of opportunity for you to acquire gear even if you haven’t reached 400 yet. With that being said, are you ready for Forsaken and the possible comeback of Destiny? If you haven’t already head over to Amazon and pre-order Forsaken today!
